Welcome to WCCIF 2008 - The 20th Anniversary celebration, July 3 - 8, 2008!

This year's theme - Transformation: Honoring Our Roots, Dancing Into The Future - will enliven and inform all of the classes, labs, discussions, performances and jams. This year's 2 Thematic Tracks are: Extreme Physicality and Somatics. ONLINE REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED.

Sunday, July 5, 2008, Please join us for our 6th annual JAM DAY event, with four studios dedicated to jamming, special facilitated scores, One-on-One private sessions with festival teachers, plus the 20th Anniversary Party at 8pm!

Required On-Site Check-In
Please check-in at the registration table when you first arrive - even if you are pre-registered! Check-in is required of all participants, and the process has changed from previous years. PLEASE ARRIVE WITH AMPLE TIME TO CHECK-IN BEFORE ALL CLASSES AND ACTIVITIES.

Classes: Are first come, first served and they fill up quickly. We recommend arriving early to classes you really want to attend. No pre-registration for single and two-part classes.

Open Performance: Students are highly encouraged to perform work in progress and exchange feedback. Rehearsal space and time is available and included within full festival tuition.

Jams: Occur every evening 8pm-midnight, Thursday through Monday, including: Quiet Jams, Blindfold Jams, Music Jams, and Open (no extras, no rules) Jams.

Work Exchange (WEX): 5 and 10 hour positions are available for $50 and $100 off of festival tuition. Contact the organizers early for a WEX application, as WEX is given first come, first served. Email preferred at contact@wccif.com, put "WEX" in subject line.

Scholarships: A limited number of scholarships are available. For an application, email contact@wccif.com with SCHOLARSHIP in the subject line. Scholarship applications must be filled out and RECEIVED by WCCIF no later than June 1, 2008. If you cannot email, phone Kim at 917.434.4350 for an application.
